I thought after lurking for years I would actually put up some of my own projects to be critiqued. I will post more as I get time.

First up is my Deathguard Chaos Lord. I have sculpted various bits on to this guy including a scratch built head which I am rather pleased with. I have 2 more tentacles to sculpt on his shoulder pad which I will then sculpt further to make it look like they have broken through his armour much like the maggots on his helmet.

Looks like you're a good sculptor. Will you paint it or just concert it?

Thanks cheelfy, I do my best. I tried doing some full sculpts 2 years ago and didn't do a great job but I love converting.

I want to paint this guy myself as I am building a small death guard army but I am a bit worried about it as I'm not a great painter and I want to do him justice. So when the time comes I will be asking for advice. I will be putting up some of my painting WIPs later.

Nice work! Very smooth and precise. I particularly like it for that - 'controlled' mutation and rot looks much better than trying to let accidental marks and rough putty do the job for you, IMO.
