Tips on camouflage nets?

I\'m looking to put a \'torn-up-effect\' camo net over sections of a Warhound I\'m coming close to finishing and wondered if any of you guys or gals had any tips on making one, or had done so in the past?

I\'ve seen a few online, but for a 10-12 inch camo net I\'m reluctant to shell out £15.00, which they all seems to be priced, or thereabouts.

I\'m sure a pair of old fishnet tights (not that the other half would appreciate me taking her tights apart) or something and a bit of patience could work but if anyone can suggest otherwise it\'d be most appreciated.

Maybe use some wire mesh flocked, it will last longer being sturdier. Surely would be easier to paint as well

Well first off - are you talking about a WH40k Warhound TITAN??

Cos tbh, I don\'t think a camo net would really work on a titan! :D

What scale are we talking?

Battletech, 1:220 - I used a bit of coarse fabric - net bag from produce about a 1/16th in weave (1.5 mm +/-) - and some different cammo threads.

yeah i agree. you\'d need a massive carboard box painted like a sky scraper so it can just burst out!
