Hello everyone. Been lingering around CMON for almost a year and thought I should finally post something.

Here is my wip shaggoth of tzeentch

nice idea, but the hand (foot?) that is closest on picture #2 is a bit strange, plus the mini is leaning back. but hey, my minis always seem to lean forwards:D

I really had to laugh when I saw the 2nd picture... it\'s a MUMAK! :D

This is a really early stage of the mini. I really don\'t have any knowledge of 40k, or from whatever that system that demon comes from, so I don\'t know what you want this model to look like/become.

The first green (paw) looks good to me though! I\'m really curious how this turns out!!

The foot does look a bit strange but thats how i wanted it look because he\'s tzeentch and I still have to give it a tail to lean on.

Not so much a tutorial, but the most recent step by step from Freeman on the Spanish Team forum has some fine feathered wings on it. May help you out. Here is the translated link.

you know i think you have a great idea but i am still not \"feeling\" it yet. the execution on the feet is done quite well but as others have stated the stance still feels somewhat unsteady. but i am eagerly anticipating more green stuff and hopefully i will be able to see a better piece as it goes. keep up the good work. :D

I\'m planning to put a gor and an ungor on the base but i have no idea how I could make them look tzeentchy so does anyone have some ideas/

I\'d leave the Gor & Ungor till later on... Whilst they may be \"cool\" I think you will find that adding them to the base will make the model look too busy, and detract from the work you have done on it. So leave that sort of thing till last and then decide if they are really necessary.

I also agree with the others in that the \"backward\" pose looks odd - and even with the tail might... so maybe something to think about in regards to adjusting it forward a little? If possible?

I think the pose will turn out ok after I\'ve put on the tail and body, but I was also thinking of adjusting the left leg a bit to make it look like he\'s really standing.

I think that the pose for the lower legs will work as long as you give him a really hefty tail that his weight is clearly resting on.

To do this you are going to have to shift his feet way forward on the base, or extend the back of it, so that the base can accommodate the tail. If the tail doesn\'t make plenty of contact with the ground I can\'t see any amount of work on your part stopping it from looking wrong to be honest.

I think his left leg also needs more contact with the ground. It\'s a bit too floaty right now.

I like the crazy knee pad though, puts me in mind of a Jim Henson creation from something like Labyrinth.
