I\'m surprised there\'ve been no bids yet - I guess everyone\'s hanging on to try and get a last minute bargain. Can\'t wait to see a painted version here on CMON lol

\"My cat has just walked over my keyboard\" ???

...or I believe he means - \"Sir, I think that your version of the Eldar Wraithlord is of an excellent standard but please may I enquire as to whether or not the said model is accompanied by a selection of alternatively deployable combinations of military hardware accessories, for example advanced laser technology weapons and the like. Tee hee\"

Hope that helps :D

They call it l33t (leet) speak, which stands for \'Elite\'. Many people in chatrooms and on game servers think it is cool to misspell words. It was probably started by teenagers who couldn\'t spell for s__t, and they explained it away as a cooler way to talk.

Much like the fad to not wear sholaces a few years back, started from released ex-convicts not having any shoelaces because they were confiscated, Or the trend for kids who dress \'street\', started by poor kids who had to wear hand-me-down clothes from older relatives that didn\'t fit right.

It seems it is fairly easy to convince morons that you\'re own personal \'problem\' makes you cooler then them. ;)

According to one kid in my WoW guild it\'s also called (something)bag, but I always forget what the \'something\' is, because I refer to it as speaking \'dueschbag\'. Needless to say we do not get along, but fortunately he is the only member of my guild that uses it (and most of them are teens).

Nice translation though, Billy. Have you ever seen the 70\'s movie Airplane? The one where the old white lady has to translate for the black passengers because she can speek \'Jive\'? It\'s a classic. :D

Actually it was started by Hackers trying to avoid detection programs, tossing numbers and miss spellings into their code and communications.

With the advent of online gaming early gamers picked up the speach both for it\'s \'coolness\' and the ability to say more with less typing, which of course if very important while playing a First Person Shooter or other action based game.

Unfortunately it\'s become more and more popular and bastardized in the last few years.

I heard on the news a few weeks ago that students in Australia are going to be allowed to write Uni/college exam papers in text talk, so they can write more in the amount of time........so thats the English language down the pan then..

Airplane. Spoof of the rash of \"impending airport disaster\" films in the 70\'s.
