The horror... the horror

Or rather - The Horrors!

These miniatures are absolutely fantastic - so animated, dynamic and completely mental - and I couldn\'t help but enjoy painting them, despite normally hating doing Warhammer units for some reason.

I fancied going a bit old school with the colour scheme and doing bright pink and blue Horrors with very heavy contrast, but I think this fits the nature of the minis.

Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Old school color-scheme yes, but done well. There\'s a nice depth and darkness to the colors that keeps them looking like the bubblegum horrors, which I like. Would\'ve liked to have seen a few more pics, maybe a detail look at one or two of em.

These look pretty nice, I think you\'ve handled the colour well but I\'d like to see a better pic or two :)

I\'ve gotta agree, greeeat models, very dynamic and the colours are very good,
well done on finishing a whole unit aswell.

Love what I\'m seeing...

...they\'re very reminiscent colour wise of the older ones, the tone here is less wacky though and more refined....very nice! And like rev said, keeping that coherency of colour between figures is to be applauded, cheers! :D ;)

Hey, glad everybody seems to like them. I need all the encouragement I can get to finish my first Warhammer army! I\'ll try and put up some more detailed shots once the Standard and Champion are done, but they\'re on hold for now because I\'m making a unit a week for the army and needed to move on.

It\'s wierd, but the images that show on CMON don\'t seem to be as sharp and defined as the ones I submit, desptite keeping them within the required parameters. I always save them really close to the maximum file size though. Does anyone know if they are optimised down if they are around 95-98 kb too?

This week I\'ve also added a unit of Flamers to the army which you can see here.

My Changebringer conversions are on the way too, so I\'ll post them on Wednesday or Thursday. Painting armies to tight deadlines is a bloody harsh experience, but it\'s certainly bulking up the content of my gallery!
