The Everqueen

This is GW\'s fantastic High Elf Everqueen painted using Reaper Master Series paints. She features freehand knotwork, a two-toned gown and is mounted on a standard sized gaming base. The gemstones are layered with a gloss coat of jeweler\'s epoxy to create an authentic shine. The rest of the figure is finished with several layers of Testor\'s Dulcote to insure lasting protection.

Her gown is based with Jungle Moss and then highlighted up using 9034-Muddy Olive and a bit of 9095-Clear Yellow. The folds were shaded in more Jungle Green and 9136-Walnut Brown. The main knotwork on the back of the gown was blocked in with Oiled Leather, outlined in Jungle Moss mixed with 9136-Walnut Brown and then highlighted with 9095-Clear Yellow up to 9061 Linen White. Her staff was based with a mix of 9028-Muddy Brown and Linen White and shaded with more Walnut Brown.

I very rarely ever paint any GW figures at all and this was pulled out of my archives to complete this knotwork series. I will likley not do any more knotwork for a long time!

Fantastic work. A great job from head to toe. The shading around the eyes works well, and the knotwork is really well executed

HOWDY, new guy here.

Overall technically I like what you have done, very nice indeed.

My biggest problem with this is purely subjective though. It strikes me as a wood elf based on the palette.

I know it seems trivial and we can paint things anyway we want, but .....

A little more blue or white would have made me happier.

Still, like I said, purely subjective and I can\'t fault you on how well its painted. Very Nice!
