Mech Gear
New member
If you take a look at my profile, you will notice the very generic MechGear 2057 theme. I am under no illusion of the lack of painting skills I have, so I tend to create set pieces for my table top game from pieces of junk, foam board, card and anything which clutters up my home.
I particularly enjoy using card and hand carving the foam when creating and have the patience of a saint when doing so, but not when it comes to painting....maybe one day!
The Cathedral is the centre piece for the Civilian section of the game, with a foot print set on a base W 50cm, L 70cm, H 45cm. The majority of the walls have been cut (42 separate pieces of foam board), currently held together with cocktail sticks so I can dismantle it when I begin painting the interior.
I will post more progress updates as and when, but I would be grateful for any tips and advice form others who enjoy creating hand built pieces from scratch.
