Here\'s a quick article on how to make one more tool for sculpting or converting. Should be useful for any Nurgle players especially.

Made and used a lot of stamps. You can get some FANTASTIC results and they save a lot of time.....get creative!

Yup, stamps are really handy. All sorts of household items can be useful for textures too if you don\'t fancy making your own.

Has anyone ever made a successful chainmail stamp? I\'ve been thinking what a great tool it could be but haven\'t got round to trying it, partly because I\'ve never seen it suggested by any of the pros. I find that sculpting chainmail is either easy - but looks over simplistic, or takes absolutely ages - but looks decent.

If a stamp could do the job it would be awesome. I guess that lining up would be the main problem...

Hmm, I may have to have a go at it though. Could save loads of time.

It\'s cool useful textures you can make are Scales Feathers Fur tons of em and if your not able to sculpt the details yourselfs press onto any nice texture you see ..I recently did it with cold one scales as I had 33 Metal coldones to build and fill the joints and a quick line of greenstuff and a press of the scales saved me hours ..nay days..
Also how cool to see the new prophet minis site I have had the old site as one of my favourites for about 7yr I think?? love the space wolves and the funny names.. Good to see the work back and bang up to date Bravo.....

I really don\'t think it would work. If it\'s small enough to get into nooks and crannies, you\'ll have seams and will need o line up each mark perfectly. If it\'s big enough to avoid seams, it would be awkward and cumbersome.

The size issue aside, I\'m not sure a stamp would work well for deeper textures like chainmail. I\'ll fool around with it and let you guys know.

Almost. I think it was actually 2002 that I had my first site. It was in Flash. I didn\'t know Flash so couldn\'t update it! In \'04 I built one in html which was not nearly as pretty, but I could handle it myself. I got the new one because it\'s very easy to update and came with the shopping cart as part of the package.

I agree. One mark at a time seems to be the only way to get a decent result that would work for smooth areas, folds, inside curves etc.
