Terminator honours?

Is having terminator honours the same as being in terminator armour. I saw in a list once that assult squads could have a leader (sergent?) that had termi. honours. I\'ve never seen, or can think of the logistics around terminator armour with a jump pack. Anyone able to clear this up for me?

Okay I haven\'t actually played since the Rogue Trader Days but the fluff used to be (back when Termies were new) that A marine with Terminator Honours meant that he was one of the chosen few who could wear terminator armour into battle. Note, he COULD. This meant that the marine could be in any unit with any configuration including an assault unit in normal Powered Armour. Or he could be in terminator armour.

There used to be Terminator Assault Squads as well, they contained 5 marines in terminator armour with either lightning claws or a thunder hammer and storm shield.

Well, nothing\'s changed since those days in respect to the rules on Terminator armour and honours. T.Hons grant you +1 A and increase leadership to 9 if it wasn\'t that or higher before (to represent that they\'re pretty much considered to be veteren sergeants). As Gilvan said, he has the right to wear terminator armour, it does not mean he is wearing it. You still have to pay for it.. Those already wearing the armout have the bonuses already icluded in their stats. Oh, and you can\'t have t. armour and a jumpack at the same time.

Gilvan, there still are terminator ssault squads.

I am by no means a WH40k expert but here is what I think:

You get the Crux Terminatus to represent TH? I sergeant with TH could be wearing regular power armor and have a necklace type thing that looks like an iron cross with a skull in the middle to represent the honors.

But then again I could be VERY wrong as well. I tried to google an image of Terminator honors but I kept getting pics of Ahnahld.

Yeah, thats roughly it, but they can wear them in lots of different places, but basically they are a cross with a skull, and can be worn on a shoulder pad, like a terminator, as a pendant, or as an icon on another piece of armour, knee pads sometimes.

But normally as a left shoulder pad.
