Well after loosing my job in december i ave been bumming about as the job market sucks atm, and finally got round to doing some painting the past few days and am getting quite addicted.

found a new love... orks they are great fun to paint. mine are kinda cartoon stylised as im not great at blending and liked the contrast.

also started on my ultramarines, but im not really happy with either. tempted to strip them and start again. the terminator is still WIP.

and my latest project is a box of Knights of the realm. really like these minatures and having never painted horses before there proving a challenge, again WIP still.

I am waiting to see how those knights turn out. Looks like you have a nice jump on them.

a couple of pointers, try thinning your paint, you can build up the layers of highlight more smoothly. also beware of mould lines, i can see a few that you have missed!

been finishing off the knights mount but a little stuck with some colour selection, other then those few sections it pretty much finished, just some tidying up to do.

the bits in question is the cloth peice on the reigns and the peice verticaly comming down from that at the front.

also trying to decide weather to do a knights of the crusade themed squad and having each unit of knights in different colours but each unit being the same. these guys being the Knights Templar. what u peeps reckon?? yay or nay?
