Ted, any update on the tabletop version?

I know it won't be a complete rules set like Dust Tactics to Dust Warfare, but after seeing the update, I am Jones'in for a giant tabletop battle with these guys outside the normal boardgame. I'd love to hear if that's progressed any farther.

We have done some more work on it. But we've been focusing on trying to get the Blitz campaign done and make it feel special to the kickstarter so that you'll need some pieces from the expansions to play the entire thing, like the dogs, turrets, one requires planes (could play without if you didn't get brighton), turrets, etc. Also we have been pushing ahead on the expanded faction ideas. We are really excited about adding more gameplay options and a bit more variety to the game. All the feedback we've heard has helped us focus on what we need to do to expand the game in ways that'll make it the most fun for you guys.

But I agree, seeing those videos really makes one realize how giant a tabletop battle there could be. I want to have the tabletop rules out to you guys before CMoN Expo (end of April I'm shooting for). So people can take a look and give some feedback. Then we'd like to try some of it out at the CMoN Expo. The Expo might be a great place to try out some of the other expansion ideas as well.

I'll bump this, because I know Ted was pretty close and I'm really really looking forward to taking the rules for a spin.
