What kind of thinning ratio did you use on the Tausept ochre for airbrushing, oh and what thinning medium did you use?

Actually, I have all my paints thinned down in paint pots like those from vallejo. It depends on the paint but I would suggest one paint drop to two to free medium. And I use vallejo airbrush thinner.

Did you use a specific technique to make sure you just got the wash in the cracks? I'm facing a similar dilemma, and wondered if there was a trick to it other than a steady hand. Airbrush colors are hard to touch up....

well there is 2 methods I know of:
- liner-pen (used by gundam modellers for example). Used it on my tau figures, works ok, maybe not for displays, but for gaming pieces. (my Tau-s https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/JgwRCmmNLaZYB_sHUwdOIdMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink )

- varnish model, then oil-wash, remove smears, then varnish again. (can be seen pretty good here for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=au95JdLpnGE&list=UUsVtZ8SRClYf4tPzy8HjNtA&index=1 )
