Started work on this over the summer but it has been on hold for a while due to a broken thumb.
Inspired by the Tau commander suit from the dawn of war video game. Converted from a shadowsun model, crisis suit parts, and styrene. Was originally going to be a golden deamon entry but they aren't having any US gamesdays save for the one in Baltimore and it's too expensive to fly there simply to enter. I wish they were still holding gamesday in other locations
My thumb is finally healed and I got back to work on it, and it's just about ready for paint. I'll probably be painting it in white with orange trim to represent that it's X type armor. But also considering all red or possibly dark green, going to have to do some thinking on the final scheme.
Weapons are pinned at the moment but are going to be magnetized so that they can be swapped out for alternate configurations.
Once this is finished up I should be getting back to my 3-D space hulk work log shortly.
