Looks like they\'re re-releasing Talisman again.......this is the 4th edition

Maybe some of my 2nd editition minis will become worth some money.

Ahh yes thanks for the heads up Talisman is my all time favourite game I bought the first edition and all the expansions and sent off for all the minis that were available at the time I even managed to get the Dragons expansion, I don\'t use that now as it is old and stays in my cupboard of old GW stuff.
So to see it released again is great news, maybe there is still hope that one day Space Hulk may get an airing too.

they are supposedly reviving other games as well.

just watch the oop collectors market on ebay, when a certain range gets popular enough they rerelease it.

Talisman minis are pretty popular, and usually go for a pretty good price as it is.

I made the mistake of showing my girlfriend one of the Talisman frogs. I ended up having to pay $20 for it.

Excellent news - \'tis truly a wonderful \'little\' game.
I\'ve got what I think was the last version and also Dragon\'s Tower, City Gates and Dungeon expansion sets. It makes for a beast of a game. We\'ve probably got a miniature for every possible character encountered in the game (wights, griffons, mules, merchants, lions etc) which all adds to the character. Have even contemplated (in moments of madness) transforming my board into a huge 3-D version with woods, mountains, dungeons etc, but then sanity prevails.

Both my brother\'s-in-law will be well chuffed \'cos they\'ve been seeking out a copy after I introduced them to it.

Cool to see Priestly back involved. If only they would let him re-do 40K back towards his original.

I hope they made the mid game quite a bit faster. Broke my 1st edition copy (and all the bloody expansions) out this summer and found it to be a little less then thrilling. It was fun, but so slow to level up. Stuck in that area where you are too tought for the outer relam but not tough enough for the inner.

For a similar game experience check out Runebound by Fantasy Flight. I am loving that way more then Talisman.

Me and the kids got dungen, city and space expansions, might look into the other game mentioned sounds good.

I managed t oget all the expansions.......I quite liked \"Talisman Timescape\" aka the space one.

I have fond memories of playing the game for about 13 hours...........where we all had enough Strength and Craft that we only need to give the guardian to the second level and evil stare and he would explode. Those were the days.

Did anyone have the Dragon Lance game. The one with the 6 different colours dragons and loads of white counters you\'d stack to make your dragon higher. If you did, did you ever try and fly so high that you needed all said counters to do so, with the dragon being about 3 foot off the game board.
