This is currently one of my WIP.

Goblin Squig Herder. The skin is complete, but i may touch up a few areas, around the jaw line after looking at these photos.

Anyway, I\'m trying to give the symbols a rusted look like two pan lids. What do you guys think, I\'m not that happy with it, it don\'t look right to me........any suggestions

Try an uneven wash of bown ink and chestnut ink to make the cymbols look more rusty. I\'ve always been partial to that squig herder model. A guy at our lgs actually converted it to be his shaman, and it works great.

The angle of the pic makes it hard to see the top of the nose, but it looks very dark.

Keep it up!

Ok slightly more work done on it, touched up the skin and I am now happy with it.
Took your advice Hako with apply a more uneven wash, it\'s better but still not how I hoped, finished the face.

Now starting on the robes, ignore the heavy highlighting, it\'s my method of painting large areas of cloth. Reverse highlighting. I do a near top highlight to judge where the highlights should be then paint darker shades around the areas before applying the final highlight
