Table top Techmarine

I have been painting for about three years mainly to astandard only fitting the game table. The last
few units of minis I have really slowed down and tried to focus on more timeconsuming techniques. I am
fairly inexperienced at OSL, wet blending and shading (past a dunk in badabblack).

So here is a unit I just finished. I tried OSL on the plasma pistol and used a wet pallet in mixing my
paints in areas where the value was increasing.
I put about 20 hours in these 5 minis. (Maybeexcessive for such a rough paint
job). Let me know what you think and your advice on what I can do better and how.

Thanks!

The blue OSL looks fine. The paint is a tad thick, but that can be dealt with easily on the next mini. Since metallics figure so prominently on these minis, maybe a bit more highlighting and some thin washes? I like a sepia wash on metal, as it gives it an oiled/maintained look. Anyway, just a thought. Well done.
