Suggestions for a Elric of Melnibone mini?

Hi,
Ide like to do a diorama of a scene from Sailor Of The Seas of Fate(Book 2 of the Elric Saga), but Im not sure of a good miniature to use for Elric. Does anyone have a suggestion, or a couple suggestions to convert a mini into Elric?

Well, you could always check on ebay for the old GW Elric figures, they were very nicely done.

There was a set of characters from the melnibonean genre, I believe from either Ral Partha or Rafm, I\'m thinking it was Rafm.

I had the entire set and sold all but the Elric figure, which I kept because he looks so cool.

If interested, what would you be willing to pay?

May I suggest keeping your conversion
choices limited to elven miniatures?
I\'m suggesting Elves only because Elric
was described as lean, weak and sickly
and the Melnibonians were haughty and
beautiful with angular features... which
always reminded me of elves - Though
extremely EVIL elves!

Ide rather convert some minis than buy older Elric minis, since it would cost an arm and a leg(Ive been watching on Ebay). Plus it always feels good to put something together yourself.

So other than looking through Elf miniatures(which I had also thought about), any specific miniatures out there?

Well, I did a search for Elric and found

But he\'s pretty ugly.

I was thinking Fenryll\'s stuff tends toward the sickly thin and tall side, and though I\'ve never read the books, I bet you can find something there to suit - the General Elfe is pretty good I\'d think.

Your \'This Guy\' link isnt working, but Im assuming you mean the General. Yes he is very ugly, if I didn\'t know any better he would be a wonderful choice

Actually he is pretty cool, but it states that he is 32mm.. I dont know how well that would look with other 28mm minis.
