In the US Army we have subdued rank for in field operations, mostly to hide rank but also because its an unwise tactical move to have shiny or brass things mixed with camo in the field.
The RG being an extra sneaky type army, and thinking of an appropriate "in the field" Aquila, I was trying to come up with an aquila that didn't offend the God-Emporer, but also didn't say "HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY!!!" either...
I was thinking maybe Doing the aquila in bleached bone and many layers of wash over the top... I dunno... I'll post a pick of the half finished sniper team for refrence in a minute...
Any ideas? On some of these guys the sniper rifle is across the chest, so it'll be minimal exposure... others not so much.
