Stripping paint: need help

So, I\'ve recently begun trying my first paint stripping. Pinesol, about a 60/40 PS to water mix. works great on citadel paints, but citadel primer refuses to give up the ghost. Also, paint in deep recesses refuse to get pulled out.

I\'m looking for something to use on plastics when, combined with a clipped down toothbrush for scrubbing, will help me tear all that junk off without killing the figs. Pinesol mix seems really plastic friendly, but its gunna take me weeks to get all this crap out of deep parts without help, i think.

toothpicks, lots and lots of toothpicks.

I had a question relating to this as well, so I hope you dont mind me asking it, but does resin (forgeworld) come to any harm when dipping in simple green.

Super Clean. This is THE miracle stripper. You can find this in places like wal-mart (at least in the states), it comes in a giant purple jug and can be found near the auto section (by all the car cleaners). I believe this is similar to simple green.

This stuff is amazing on plastic. It cleans everything off, just use a toothbrush to scrub after about a day of soaking (if it\'s newer paint it\'s even less of a soaking time). The plastic is not damaged at all.

I have used this on forgeworld resin too, and it does the trick.

alright. super clean.. sounds great. no softening, discoloring, anything like that? and how much does a jug/bottle/whatever run in American dollars?

still no good

Alright, I bought some super clean... purple spray bottle, \"super clean All wheel cleaner.\" I assume this is what i was suggested to use, since its the only thing with super clean label in the auto section, and it is specifically safe for almost all materials, including plastic.

The problem is the pinesol/water 50/50 mix got better results faster. I\'m up to 2 days soaking and the basecoat sprays are still a pain in the rear to remove. Tons of scrubbing, and sometimes i don\'t even get to bare plastic yet.

did i buy the wrong stuff? am i doing something wrong? am i just retarded/unlucky?
