It's a damn shame too, because I really enjoy playing this game. The mechanics are really neat and different from most other games systems. I am happy that at least there is a variety of miniatures for the game. I would have loved to see this game actually make it into the community. It seems that this game is just always going to be an obscure game, that literally have a very small fan base. Although I have other board games from CMON (Arcadia Quest, and now Zombicide), Wrath of kings really stood out to me. I will always try to get more players involved with this game, but it doesn't help that CMON doesn't really support the game anymore. They were always distant with announcements but they have been silent on Wrath of Kings for almost a year now. They have been sneaking out the last few models from series two on their web store. It's a real shame as a legionnaire too. I can't in good faith promote a company that really doesn't care about their own products after a launch.
Hello, new to anything really by CMON as I've usually just not had the time to devote to more then one game. I ran across WoK here honestly by accident and fell in love with what I found. I'm very much sad to discover that CMON has abandoned a game with genuinely unique models. Monsters and beasts, this was such a gem to discover as most other miniatures games I find are just bog standard humans (or a few variants) that it really popped out at me. They look especially fun to paint. I have some friends I could probably pull into this especially given the smaller price tag compared to other miniatures lines but I do hope CMON decides to do SOMETHING with it in the future.
Many are in the same boat as you!
And it looks like CMON might be killing off Dark Age too, sadly!
yeah, it is pretty much dead now.
btw what boxes/minis are you looking for? I might have some (have about all goritsi and hadross (with multiples),also some of the others (very limited)).
Of course only if you are ok with: mostly without boxes, assembled, shipping from Eu (postage outside the Eu can get horribly expensive)
