Starting Cygnar

I\'m starting a cygnar army and I don\'t know what to do now. I bought the battle group but what should I do next? What minis should I next purchase?

I wan\'t a kind of close combat, super heavy type army. Big guns, big armor, big wepons! Something tough!I really wan\'t to play jack heavy army. The heavier the better!

i would say to get some longgunners for there 2 shots and cheap cost

sword knights for their 2 attacks and good armour and def and cheap

gun mages are super at range but they are expensive.i find they are worth it with their high rat and 3 types of ammo

for jacks the lancer is a good additon with its anti-cortex shield and arc-node

i find the centurion is great as it cant be slammed or charged on it front arc which is great if you want to protect your caster behind it

the thunderhead is expensive but worth it if used correctly it has one attack which could wipe out any troops within 8inches fron its front arc

As to what models to expand your force with - start with picking up the models you like the most
I can also recomend buying Prime and the faction-deck (if you haven\'t done allready).
That\'s pretty much the best way to start

super heavy army = darius!

get a centurion and darius, along with the battlebox you have you have 40 points left over for some squishy solos.

eryiss for the pained look your opponent will get.

journyman for the ultra tough ARM 24 centurion.

or 3 stormsmiths for the bolts of doom.

and if they kill all your jacks then darius can make them get up again. hows that for tough

I think long gunners, gunmages and journeyman warcaster are great units to buy.
If you\'re looking for some jacks get a thunderhead ad a hunter (I don\'t remember if the hunter is in the starter box)
