st david's flag pennant

i've just been handed a bag of small sew on patches of the st david's cross the secondary flag of wales which is a gold cross on a black field and has been used since roughly 675a.d. and was more recently incorporated in to the cardiff city football club's emblem

the ones i've been given to me were originally meant for the sleeves of one of the welsh national team's rugby kits from last year and are rougly 78mm by 34mm (i may be out by a millimetre or two) i've got no use for them but was thinking they would make for a nice cloth pennant on a knight with similar heraldry or a regiment banner for troops from any number of different eras...obviously from 675a.d. to modern day and futuristic

sincer thier embroided you'd really need to attach two together to show the falg the same each side as the back shows the stitch work going through the cross but i'm not going to tell you how to use them but i've got 85 of these so if you're interested i'm thinking £1 each plus p+p or if you want to buy a few of them i'm willing to haggle over a bulk buy discount

if i did this right there should be a picture attached of the actual patches with a lighter for size comparison

if you need more details and/or are interested in purchasing some of these please pm me

thanks

just to clarify i used the term gold in the heraldic sense the cross is yellow thread not gold...just like any other picture of the st. david's cross you'll find on the web i thought it best to clear this up as i see the flash has made the cross on the flag in my picture look more golden than yellow i assure you this is not the case on the real article they all have yellow thread on black
