Here are some photos, of some black templars, where I've experimented with a method, following Thomas David's tutorial that can be found at HellDorado webpage (http://helldorado.fr/figurines/helle-moller-step-by-step-painting-guide-by-thomas.php).
Usually I spend much more than 4 hours per mini, but these 5 minis were painted in not much more (in 20-40 min. sessions through several days).
So here are some photos:
First step, application of grey, over the black undercoat:
2nd, application of white, from above the minis:
3rd, application of glazes on armor:
4th, finishing up (picking up the details, etc...):
Very nice technique. What do you think?
