Space Wolves Blood Claw

New model completed today.

Tried a few techniques I've not attempted before, including free-handing an icon. I'm quite happy with how it's ended up. There's plenty of room for improvement on the armour, particularly the chest, and the gun barrel not being drilled out in the centre irritates me somewhat (but I did prep this about 5-6 years ago - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

Used an airbrush to get the initial base coats and and highlights on the armour before moving onto the brush to have more control and accuracy. Somewhat "old-school" GW style of colour choices, but at the moment I find it more fun to paint bright colours, so it's a little overly cartoony, but after all, having fun whilst painting is the main aim isn't it :)

This was largely a test piece to try out new techniques more than anything else, as although I originally collected Space Wolves as a kid, I never really completed many models, so it might actually be the first Space Marine I've ever properly finished.

Particularly happy with the base.

Looking for comments and tips to get better moving forward.
