Space wolf colour schemes and techniques

Hey all,

As my BAs get no love and i cant stand starch ass codex chapters i am seriously considering getting started on a Space wolves army at games day, I\'ve alwasy loved the wolves fluff and novels so it makes sense.

my biggest problem is i\'m not a huge fan of space wolves grey, i cant really settle on a look i prefer, although i\'m leaning towards a darker colour such as shadow, or codex grey, however i am not much of an experimenter when it comes to schemes so i would like to ask that all space wolf players out there could perhaps put down a brief description of their varying techniques or what colours they use or any usefull tutorials lurking about, thanks alot

If you take a look at my avatar you have one example on how to paint your Pups. I start with GW Fenris grey , shade it with Mordian blue ink, touch up with Fenris yet again and then I work my way up to the highlights by shadow grey which I add space wolves gray to in increasing amounts. I like the result. I\'ll try to find the original pic for you so you can see the entire model.

I\'m currently favouring codex grey -> fortress grey colours, but using brown, blue and purple washes to shade in an effort to add a bit more colour to it.
