Hi guys,
I have inherited a bunch of 2nd ed marines (plastic and metal) these are the first lot of mk 7 armoured dudes - with chunky arms and bolters....
Trying to decide how to paint them - would like them to be codex ish so I can be a spotter and differentiate between ranks and squads - was thinking ultramarines, but threw that out asd colours too bright.
Would like to do a dark or metallic coloured armour as I believe they are more forgiving (the models have been stripped/filed/reassembled). Other options included DA and Crimson Fists.
However - can anyone suggest a nice scheme/colour combination or existing chapter that might suit?
