Yes, aren\'t they beautiful? I was admiring them recently over on Dakka. I am going to have to use them all in conversions, I just know it...

As sar as I see it, those are veterna srgeants, as veteran SMs can have bolter or Bolt pistol plus CC weapon - veteran sergenats can have anything. i really love the personalized armor variants and the metal banners, tehy look fantastic. A shame I don´t play SMs (yet?).
You should also note the new scriptor tigurius model (pic3). I like it.

dont get me wrong, i love the new sms, but could it be that you cant really tell the difference between sms and csms anymore?

Actually I think it is ALL plastic.

I have heard from many places now that the new space marine plastic set would include a command sprue that would allow to make the HQ units, like standard bearers and apothecaries. This photo seems to confirm that since I recognize most of the plastic parts.

While I fear that means I will have too many extra command bits laying around (as is currently the case with my extra Tomb King bits) I do welcome the modeling opportunites this will create... :D

I am really excited about the new version coming out the new releases it will bring. Perhaps I\'ll even have to play again... ;)

Cant say im a fan of the Tigerius (hate the ern on his head.....) but the rest are awesome... and it sucks cause im gonna have to drop a couple 20s into one of those :flame: command boxes when they come out, and i still have to do my Sisters army too......... lol

Plastic Sprue at Games Day

popped into my local GW store this lunchtime and glanced some colour pictures of the new SM command squad made from the new plastics sprue.
It was on the Games Day program.
Looks like these will be on a pre-release sale at the UK show!!

I thought they were avoiding selling much Per-release stuff at Gd, due to the chaos that ensues, mind you they did have some kislev stuff last year. I tried to get that Kislev guy on the bear at GD last year, I went straight to the reatail stands tp get it as soon as I went it, i was told taht they had already sold out :rolleyes:, appparently they only had 8 models for the whole event, 8!!! for an event with like 6000 people, :rolleyes:

Back end of this year I think, I guess the new marine stuff will gollow a month or two after the new rulebook, which comes out at the end of aug,

To be honest, I am more looking forward to the new marine \'dex than the rulebook itself :D
