Im not sure if this is against the rules here but could someone whos got the new space hulk set tell me how big the squares are please? Im hoping to create my own 3d board and i need to know how big the squares are to make it work.

I don\'t (yet) own the new set, but if you\'re gonna build your own set anyway (i.e. without use of SH boxed components), you\'re basically free to make up sizes to your convenience. If you plan on using regular GW minis or the ones from the SH set, I think 1 1/2 - 2 inch squares might work out easiest for marking/building, and fit a dynamic genestealer/terminator nicely. I don\'t think Space Hulk uses precise inch measurements for weapons range and such, more relying on distance in squares, so you should be fine.

You may not want to follow the current board size. From the pics I have seen, and some complaints I have heard, the squares are too small for \"normal\" 40K termi bases. The pics of the new models always seem to be cramming them into the squares at an angle, etc.

Ive seen that problem and aparently the squares on the cardboard is 1 3/8 inch. Im planning on making mine 2 inches squre to allow more space for things. The only question i have now is how many of each length are included? So how many corridors are 2 squares long, 3 squares etc?
