sorry to beat the dead horse some more, but have new info GW new prices < plastic kits >

Friend I know < staff member > told me alittle info reguarding the new plastic empire box sets and what the price will be.

10 plastic figure box set for £12

easier to get a unit of 20 now, which is good, but I think it is another small but hidden price rise.

wont stop me buying some, but I think they could be another round of \"hate\" when it hits the fan.....

just a little info for you guys....

Its still a price rise, but it will make unit building cheaper in the long run.
At least now you can buy \'half\' units and add them to existing units without having to spend £18 on a full box and not being able to use some of the models.

Quality is pretty damn good, especially on the extras front. Poses a little static but much better for forming units, which after all is what they are for.

I agree with you guys, they look great, also I agree with matty, this is the sort of price rise I really dont mind, they have thought about the gamer and made it easier for you to get units.

I dont mind GW prices, never have done really, what I do mind is the customer service, I am lucky that my local store is great, but when I order online / mail order from them always problems.....

If the quality stay\'s at this level thats coming out now I am more than happy to pay the prices, I am so impressed with the elder plastics.

:)

I would rather pay the extra 80P and get metal minis, so i can strip and re-paint in the future if i get better or if i decide to sell.

I would rather have plastic, but then again, I\'m a conversions freak and quite anal about mould lines (spent about 1h on a single metal wardancer yesterday).

Now that\'s an OK price raising in my book. It\'s really minor, and given that:
a) The Boxes make it easier to make round-numbered units
b) They do have a bit of extra overhead for extra packaging
c) you hopefully get a shitload of extra bits,

I don\'t mind that. Fun will start when the price goes to 13,14,15 quid eventually...
