Okay, I\'m going to rip into ya!

The pictures are very bad. The close up shots are fuzzy, and don\'t do the detail justice (good or bad). The choice of a white background (for the picture) is horrid, and drowns out the figure. The figure overall, is it really that shade of red all over? It looks nearly sepia to me.

Okay, next for the figure itself. The base appears very bland, without any form. Is it floor? Is it rock? I think the figure has spots on it, like a leopard would, but I can\'t really tell. On the face, they look too big, if so. And being asymmetric on the body doesn\'t really work, but that may just be me.

And now for the praise! I do like the mottling on the back of the wings. It looks like it belongs. At some angles, the painting on the boot armor and the sword looks really nice. Wish I could tell better. Additionally, the skin tone looks smooth.

So, there ya go. Hope it weren\'t too brutal fer ya!

i think i have hit the limitations of my camera so i apologize for that

i dont really have funds for a better camera and looking back over other photos its all slightly fuzzy on the close ups

i did tone the skin a little red but not everything maybe the camera got confused (digital) but i was going for hell demon so went with a good tan and a little red

the spots are there to try and make her different i like asymmetric so to each there own

thank you for the compliments on the skin this is my largest piece and i had to try really hard to get it to smooth gradients

the base is blister supplied. i didn't want to screw with the figure too much because i really like the whole Sophie series. it supposed to be dirt on top and tinted pewter on the side in case i try to make a bigger base for it

again sorry for the photos

I would love to comment on her but like the others have already said, I would not be able to do it justice or injustice due to the picture quality.

Well, it may not be the camera entirely. Does the camera have a macro setting? On the cameras I've had (4+ years old) it's a little flower icon. That would help on the detail pictures.

From there, maybe you'll need to adjust the colors via photo editing softare to balance it back out to the correct tones.

But, if you're already using both, then I've got nothing else that might help.

Is your camera, maybe, like.... 20 years old?:p
How many megapixels does it have? Also, was it dark? Try putting the ISO higher if its dark. It could have been that your ISO was on 80 while taking the pics while it was dark. I sometimes use 'overlighting' and put the ISO to 160 or higher.

You might also want to try a more neutral background, like a gray card; white backgrounds like that can overpower the mini.

Also, check your white balance to make sure that its set correctly.

believe me i know how hard getting good photos can be, i believe i take like a million photos of my minis untill i get decent ones. like said, try another backround, pure white hurts my eyes ;) the mini seems to look good tho what i can tell, especially the skin and the sword looks pretty
