Okay, I do now have a better camera which has improved my pics somewhat. Now to improve my skills with a camera. Your thoughts and opinions would be most welcome.

The base for the elf doesn't look to bad in the flesh, but you're right about Abaddon. I had planned to do another base but just got caught up in painting other minis. Its on the backburner for now.

Here's another pic. I was looking to find a quick way of doing a decent looking old bone effect for skeletons. There's probably a bit to much Bubonic Brown in there and they could do with a further highlight, but for regiment purposes they do the job. Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes.

These minis should be up on the voting gallery later today/tomorrow, (depending on which side of the world you're on), should anyone wish to cast a vote.

Nice stuff. Abaddon and the Black Reach captain are pretty nice. I like nazgob though I think the highlights are a bit too yellow.

I think that may be down to my camera work, I think they're all a bit to yellow to be honest. :laugh:

I like them. They remind me of the late 90's when I first started painting. I have a soft spot for that style. Abbadon and the orc are both really sweet, and the ghost has a really effective paint job.

These are very well done. There's not much to say, as far as critique; maybe just a suggestion for some small, lively element added to the base, a mushroom? Some crystals? Just a drop of vignenette concentrate, mayhap?
