Solid water

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a more solid form of realistic water? Or a foolproof way of containing the more runnier ones?

I have the one from Secret Weapon and the one time I've used it on a non contained base (with my own walls) was less than successful.

I wanted the mini to be on a rock ledge over looking the water and I am currently deciding between a regular shouldered base or a socket. Which would be easier for the water?

Many Thanks

Only if you plan to display your mini in the freezer.

Airhead, thanks for sharing the link to Hirst Arts tutorial. I'll have to check out that Envirotex stuff.

Thanks for all of the responses. Looking at them, and further google fu, means I think I may have to revert to plan A and use more liquid realistic water. The Vallejo stuff as suggested by Arbal looks like a proper pain to get level. Great for seas, but not for lakes I think.

Anyway, if you're interested you can see the model in question here and comment further.

For small lakes max 3 mm, Vallejo STILL WATER is ok. But Water Effect is for other things like Waves for example.
