Solid Snakeman

[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, 'Liberation Sans', FreeSans, sans-serif]This Games Workshop Sslyth was my second finecast mini; quality of the cast was shocking (misaligned molds and bubbling) still I did my best with it.

I based the style on the Snakeman from the XCOM series of games.

I dropped the two arms off and had to cover the left shoulder blade vent on the back as it was completely un-aligned.

Base painted in the style of the flooring from the alien base in the original game.

Looks good, great idea following the colour scheme off the game. Photos a bit blurred but is that a nasty mould line on the grey scales on the far right photo?

Yeah, it was a horrible cast. That was the 4th Sslyth I opened from GW Glasgow, the first 3 I opened were horrific miscasts. Tried to tell me that if I used a some green stuff I could fix it, aye no worries mate just give me £7 of those £10 i just handed you back and ill take it anyway I spent about 20 minutes fixing the mold lines and the unaligned parts of the cast then I gave up. Was only painting it for nostalgia value anyway
