SM Scout... first pic post

alright... been on CMON forever and finially get to post a MINI... i think this mini is finished but i would like to hear your opinions. i did not have a photo booth, so i took the pic in sunlight (so the harsh shadows). I tried to paint the weapon as if it had a matte black finish and painted the highlights.

Nice scout, somewhere between 6 and 7 I´s say, you did a good job on the red parts, the face looks OK but could have used a bit more depth. I like the wall piece on the base. You shoudl really be careful with the picture, you cut into the model several times while removing the background - maybe posting the mini with the background would give us a clearer view.

I like it, very solid piece of work nothing that\'s done wrong in my book just a case of the more you do the better you get i think. Really like the piece of crumbling wall

Think this model needs a better picture...

Also, be careful when you trim the model away in Photo Shop... You cut off some of the places, and frankly it looks bad..

I think the model needs some depth, some highlighthing and more shading to bring it into 7...
Would mark it at a 6, just above tabletop.

i will try to fix a few of the items mentioned & hopefully post some better pics.
should i raise the highlights on the weapon???
