Sleepless Painting Contest - Winners of Round 2

Okay, it\'s time we announced the winners of the Sleepless Painting Contest, round II. Just as with the last round, we loved all the paint jobs submitted to our contest. Once again we had a small but fantastic selection of entries. I really love seeing what people make of these miniatures. But we have to pick a winner, two of them actually. (I hate that part.)

Cindy Dukino has done us the honour of picking the main prize winner this time. She has also graciously offered one of the teddy-bear tic tac toe boards from her Magpie line as a prize in this round of the contest. Cindy\'s resin boards are in short supply these days, so that is quite a treat.

Cindy has chosen Linus Svensson for the main prize winner for his version of the waggamaeph with a malfunctioning warhammer.

The Honourable Mention Award goes to Nathan Bultman (Blackfly) for his rendition of Yui Qin.

We were particularly excited to see someone put in the effort to convert one of our minis and Nathan did a fantastic job here.

Both Linus and Nathan will be going on a little shopping spree compliments of Crunch-Waffle Enterprises. We want to thank them both as well as our other contest participants, Alison Scheirman and Megan Maples. We also want to thank James Shields of Fozzbozz Trading Company for his support of our contest. We wish him well.

Additional entries may be found in the forum at Crunch-Waffle Enterprises, Inc.

Round 3 of the Sleepless Painting Contest has already begun. We will be making some adjustments to the contest rules and procedures here in the next week or so, but the basic idea remains the same. Paint one of our miniatures and post it here. At the end of the April, we will be selecting the new winners.

Linus Svensson has agreed to judge this next round of the contest, and we are very much looking foreword to seeing all the new submissions people care to submit.

Actually, let\'s just post the announcement I was using in other forums.

Excellent, thanks!

No offence to your site or forum, I just don\'t have time to jump around to a bunch of different sites. I prefer most of my info in one place if possible :D

Though if I had the time, I would probably be a memeber on at least 100 forums.

Edit: forgot to comment on the pics. I love those Waggamaephs and I think Vikinglodge did an amazing job (as usual). I didn\'t know the \'story\' story behind this one, rather amusing.

I also like the very neutral and clean monk.

Edit 2: was just about to jump over to my forum and toss up a link to your forum contest results and noticed you already had. Thanks! Okay now I feel guilty for saying I have no time to visit yours... /shame. I will sign up post haste.

Heh, all part of my devious plan. Actually seiing your post reminded me that I had intended to add Windsor to my list of sites to hit. So, I headed over and piosted it up.

Hey Ian, you\'re contest is about up now too, isn\'t it? Who do we owe minis?
