i hope that you like it..sorry if the pics are so bigif it is a problem i will remove it.

comments are welcome.. it is a scratchbuilt miniature, 54mm.. all sculpted with milliput. painted with acrilycs and layers of oils.

it is my version of the major rawne from the Dan abnet\'s novels about gaunt\'s gosht..is the way i imagine this character.. the title of the scene is \"beware of your back gaunt\" something like \"cuida tus espaldas gaunt\"

because this character wants to kill his superior officer, gaunt commisar.. that is why i imagined that scene with the knife in the back, and this eyelooking in his face.. Rawne is described as a trully dangerous bastard

about the colour of the uniform, that the trousers should have been painted in black, but I allowed myself this license once i saw that the artist like Adrian Smith, they were interpreted each one of a different way. So I did the same thing to look for a better looking

TAKE NOTE IT IS A 54MM SCALE!!

Fantastic! The expression on his face most certainly captures the nature and character of a backstabber, oh and the paintings not bad either I suppose!!!lol

Truly an awesome artist, congratulations on the sword

It\'s a great piece, and no doubt deserved to win, but the modelling on the feet seems a bit off, sorry to pick faults and all but I guess that\'s why you posted it.
Great painting, and I love the face.

Big Pictures = good!!!!!

thanks Alfonso for sharing these.......a great piece of work..........not a simple piece, but much more of a story to tell!

Inspired camoflague for the cloak......kind of german WW2, only not!

and you are a judge in france....of course....sword number 1 was there. I hope to get to France with Adrian Bay......we will be our own Team! lol If that works we will meet!!! And bring Rawne!

congratulations!

Alfonso.. what can I say this is one of the best pieces Ive ever seen. Congratulations on your win. Did you ever take any pictures before you painted it? I would love to see it if you did.

I to will be in Paris for GD france and look forward to meeting you and everyone else there. I hope I can create something 1/2 as good as this.

Orb, Glad to hear you and Adrian will also be going. Jeremie is creating a list of people for tickets and dinner..make sure you get on it.

This is just great! Soooo much character! Makes me want to read the book in question now...

Fucking Awesome.....absolutley fucking awesome. You took one of my favorite characters and breathed life into him.

Wow, never has seeing a painted minis moved me to tears but you have come so damn close. I keep looking at the figure as I type this and think \'holy crap he painted the Nalwood stock, he got strait sivler correct, he even did the facial tatoo but did not go overboard with it!\"

I guess I would be asking to much if you could do some of the other characters?

Wow, just wow, great job!

love it.........I wouldn\'t say it is technically the smoothest sculpting I\'ve ever seen but the whole thing looks like a painting in 3D.. The subtleties of shades on the flesh and the tattoos are indeed amazing.
A well deserved win and another great 54mm model from that region of the continet....
