Slaanesh Demon Prince and other GD Oz pics

I thought I might put up some pics of my entries for the Australian Golden Demon comp this year for people to see as there doesn\'t seem to be too much coverage at the moment on what was there on the day of the finals.
My numbers of entries was pretty high this year as I had a few intended for last years comp that I didn\'t end up entering because I was overseas on the day they had to be handed in.
IMHO, this years comp was the toughest I have seen in Australia and there were a few new people come out winners which was great to see, as well as a first time sword winner Luke McFarlane - congrats again Luke, outstanding freehand skills there

I especially like the face of the slaneshii demon, freaky.
Demon slayer is also very well done.

Thanks for the feedback guys, the slaanesh guy was inspired by the artwork in the last codex - which is indeed pretty freaky

And Wombat - everyone has to start somewhere, so don\'t be put off. I reckon it\'s a great learning curve and a great source for inspiration

Did you base the last one on a Rackham model?

I assume the last two come of those display bases. Could never understand why Oz does that.

@Jazz - no the last one was entered into the diorama category and I used the dark elf pegasus body with the beastman chariot rider model upper torso, repositioning the axe. I think GW would have thrown me and my entries out the door if I had have entered a rackham moedl into Golden Demon lol

@ Ogrebane, thanks, yes the slayer mini comes off the base, I used it simply for photographic purposes as I think it looks better (who doesn\'t?!) but the diorama one was entered on that base.
