Sir Robinson on Creativity

I happened to stumble on this Clip of a talk that Sir Robinson gave at a TED Conference I think in 2006. It\'s a simply wonderful perspective on the value of creativity in children and how education should do more to foster that creative spirit in people. I figured many folk here at cmon being tied in with artistic endevours in one way or another would appreciate it.

So Enjoy

and you can visit TED.com which is apparently the homepage for a annual conference centered on exchanging ideas, I havn\'t at this point had a chance to look thru more then a couple features there but it seems to be a very interesting site.

Along with being a really interesting topic, this guy is a fantastic speaker...I was in stitches in places.

great to hear, it seems he\'s written a few books on the subject as well may have to look into picking up one and seeing how it reads.

I loved the point he made about the woman who choreographed Cats and Phantom of the Opera, how she has braught joy and entertainment to millions and is herself a millionaire and how today as a child she most likely would have been labled a.d.d. put on meds and told to behave.
