Should I get this CamerA

OK,

Today I did a little searching and I found a camera I kind of like (even though the sales rep was kind of stupid)

Kodiak camera

it is a Kodak 8.1MP Digital Camera, EasyShare Z8612 IS

I really do not know what all that stuff means, the specs say 8.1 MP, 12x zoom

What do you guys think, this will be my first real digital camera

Well mick I bought the camera... and this is what I got by screwing around with the zoom

I didnt know what the purple bottle was on my stand....

But after zooming in I found this

So I didn\'t dare to go over there

I put some stuff up in my WIP

I think I am trying to get too close on some individual mini\'s Like I want to take a picture of its eyeball...

Go for it it\'s as good a way as any to learn the limits of A) your camera and B) your brush skills.
Like all things the more you practise the more you can develop.

There are quite a number of good starter point articles on here about photography as well as a lot of good threads in this forum.
Worth taking your time to go through them.
