Selling on ebay - a good idea?

I am considering painting a model and selling it on ebay. I\'v always wanted to paint a WH40k deamon prince, and I thought that I might aswell get some profit out of it on the same time. So, now I\'m wondering, is ebay safe? easy to use? I\'d be thankfull to any advice I can get. (though I ought to learn to take some good photos first)

It can be a very good idea, but....

You will need to be able to open an account and I think you need a credit card to be able to do this, check with eBay.
It is also essential to be able to post good pictures if you want the best price.:bouncy:

I have never sold a thing on eBay, but I have bought a ton of stuff.:flip:
