Seeking a sultan

Greetings :]

I am looking for a demon-winning miniature who is riding on a carpet.

That mini (this example wonderfully painted as part of a diorama by Jérémie Bonamant), but riding on a cool oriental carpet :] Help in finding photos of this mini would be greatly appreciated, I saw it on demonwinner.free.fr but I have forgotten what year or country it was in, though the category was WH Single Miniature I imagine.

It is not buying the mini I have trouble with (I have found him already on GW online store here), I was jsut wanting to see the GD winning mini for some inspiration.

I found this

I had an Arabian Nights figure set that included a turbaned guy on a carpet, but I\'m not sure now who made it. I thought it was Ral Partha, but all I could come up with is this

Which isn\'t even painted, and isn\'t the one I have.

It was a golden demon winner Called \"Sheik Mah\'legg\". (I kid you not)

Can\'t remember the year but I\'ll try to find it in the GW Master painting book.

you can find some pic of it in the last edition of \"fantasy miniature\" is a book edited by gamesworkshop with some of the past years golden demon winners and awarded. the book have a black opaque cover with some glossy pics of miniatures on the back and an inquisitor scale on the cover.should be easy to find a copy in some gw store

Hey again, I went to GW today to order the mini, as a component for this £18 set:

But I would have to buy the whole thing, same story on the online store! Great mini, but I don\'t want to spend an extra £12 on a poorly sculpted chariot and another sheikh dude. I searched on eBay and found one whole set for sale, the shipping would make it more expensive than ordering it from GW... all I want is the little sultan dude. Does anyone have an idea of where I could get hold of it?

Punt small children over the fence for fun and then run away. lol. Hmmm, you could always find someone who has it and buy it off them for less.

Go there, and place an order at Mail Order tru the store. Easy...

Or call the mail-order trolls and have them wip one up for ya...

I tried mail order while I was there, the whole set is available but not the components. I emailed them, apparently in the UK online store a lot of Mordheim, Necromunda and Dogs of War minis have been discontinued
