SDE = what video game hero's

Ok.. so I have both SDE and the caverns expansion. I know that in caverns the hero's are very close to link.. mario and princess .. what video games do the hero's from the first wave represent.

I don't think they really tie into any video game. They are more of the standard fantasy guys: the barbarian, the dwarf fighter, the paladin, etc. Looking at the next expansion you might see a little Castlevania, though!
