Scratches and weathering < more help needed please, photo\'s included >

Hi again, thanks for the feedback on my skin help thread it helped loads, but after some more feedback please.

Here is a ork with some weathering and battle damage, looks ok on the table, but after I took some photos just doesnt look as good, you guys have any tips or advice for me please ?

its mainly the axe weathering over the black and white checks and the blue armour scratches that I need help with.

Well, I cant see much, but I would say the helmet marks are too big, and are just everywhere. You should look at pictures with scratched paint, look at Codex\'s and highly scored weathered mini\'s and then pick out where exactly you want the scratches.

Masters of weathering include Cyril, Jacob Rune Nielson, and Rune Kaples. Check out their stuff. I know Jacob is ranked #50 on CMON
