I have models that I was thinking of using this color on, some from KD monster range, and few nid models.

will the effects show up on 28/35mm scale or they best left for larger size models.
any special cleaning or thinning needs to use in airbrush?

They have some other nice effect colors as well, but giving the price I wanted to check and make sure they will produce the desired effect on models.

The effect will show, BUT not really good unless used on a black / dark surface. The different colors are almost invisible on a white or light grey surface.

It's waterbased acryl, so nothing special for cleaning. I feel it's thin enough for AB, but because of the metallic particles they suggest using a needle-nozzle of 0.3 or larger.
It may seriously clog a .15 HnS Infinity for example(but most colors containing metallics do that anyway, so no big surprise).

That said, while it does give that colorful appearance I wasn't really thrilled by the end result. It was not as striking / noticable as I thought it will be.
Even worse for photography. Somehow these different interference / Special Effect paints don't show up on photos.
I used it here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/387477 (shoes)
not much worse than the GoldenAcrylic Oxide colors: http://www.coolminiornot.com/350163 (whole armor)

Ok thanks,

I was looking at doing over AK black base for there metals, and adding layers of dark blues and purples to.
I got .2mm needle and .4mm needle so I shouldn't have a clogging issues, would you add an AB medium to it?

yes and no.
It's thin enough to not need it, but I always add 1-2 drops of Medium to the paints even if they are formulated with AB in mind.
