Hello All!

Just a quick note to let you know that the painting competition rules and advance tickets are up on the website.
www.salute.co.uk

We had over 200 entries last year with an incredible standard of painting and we expect the competition to be even bigger this year.

There are some changes to the rules from last year, notably one entry per category per person, and a couple of amendments to the categories, and the entry closing time of 1PM

This years top prize is a Zulu Assegai, and of course undying fame! :D

Lastly, well done Nigel on Winning the Sword last year!

Good Luck everyone!

Sorry, got a little confused about this:

Science Fiction Creature or Vehicle - creature/vehicle can be any size: up to 3 items*

Does this still mean one entry, or does it mean up to 3 entries per person?

Looking forward to my first salute. :)

OK, that\'s what I thought... but what does the \'3 items\' bit refer to? I\'m still confused about that.???
Like Bikes, Jet bikes or Imperial Guard Sentinels, 3 to a Squad.

Dunno about recomend - but we booked into this one: Hilton London Canary Wharf hotel, London because there was a good offer on LateRooms, and it\'s only a mile away.

Having stripped the mini I was working on, again, it looks like I won\'t be entering anything in the competition. Still going though. :)

I\'ll be there to shout at a hungover Nigel, I\'m stopping in Norf Lundon. Sadly i may well have a hangover cos I\'m stopping at my old Uni mates house.

I think I owe Tim a pint?

I have a WIP thread for my entry, yay for entering 54mm figures!
