Rules question "Inspire" and Leaders SOI

Hey.

Is a Leader affected by its own "Inspire"-Effect? We are not sure even after reading the "Leader"-Section on rulebook page 8.

Furthermore: Does a Leader count as being within its own SOI? "Combined Activations" on page 10 sounds like it does.

Models count as being within their own area of effects, this includes a Leader's Sphere of Influence.
