Riders of Highgarden are strictly worse Dothraki Screamers

Unless fighting against Armor 2+ opponents *from the front*, Dothraki Screamers will out-damage Riders of Highgarden, as well as be more durable. What's more, they have worse attachment options, and the Baratheon deck is both less powerful overall and supports cavalry much less than the Targaryen one. Seems like a unit design botch here.

You might want to ask about this during the chat tomorrow.

In many game you can set normal easy or hard mode.

In ASOIAF same thing. You can set easy mode (NightWatch or Mother of Dragons), normal - all else, hardmode (Neutrals) or secret Nightmare Mode (Baratheons).

It is design scheme, all is ok.

Play Baratheron if you like to overcome difficulties.

No, it's really not ok. If they explicitly said that Baratheon was an underpowered faction in the rulebook or on the box, that'd be one thing, but people are buying into this game with a certain expectation of fairness.

Your analysis is essentially based on a 1 on 1 comparison. But those units are not equal, and thus cannot be compared, because they belong to different factions.

Riders of Higharden, belong in a faction with low access to high mobility. I haven't seen the unit card yet, but if their stats are indeed equal (6 inches move), they'll be the fastest Baratheon unit. Keep in mind Champions of the Stag moves 4 inches (12 inches total with march), which is as much as NW ranger hunters on foot. By comparison 6 inches cavalry will move 18 inches. Since Baratheon are usually slow, you are paying for the mobility at a premium in a faction that does not have access to it otherwise.

Arguably, mobility might not be that valuable, and Baratheons are overpriced compared to other factions - but that's a faction problem, not a unit problem.

No it's not. I noted that RoH have worse attachment options and a deck that doesn't work as well compared to Screamers; I'm looking at the holistic situation.

The rest of your argument says that they're a better mobile option than anything else Bara has, which is true, but it's still less than other factions get at 6 points. The faction problem that you identified is made up of a bunch of unit problems. That's also why NW is so good - so many of their units are just *better* for the cost than other factions', their tactics cards are better, etc. And all that adds up, which is why cross-faction comparisons are oftentimes relevant.
