"Reported" images/submissions question

Hi all,

Wasn't sure if this belonged in any other forums so I'm hedging my bets putting it here.

What can images/submissions be reported for and what are the consequences of that?

I ask because I posted my first mini in a while recently, and when I looked at my old images, 2 of them had been listed as 'reported' (they were just pics of painted minis with nothing wrong with them that I could see) and the links to them took you to a random entry from someone else.

I've deleted both of the entries completely now to be safe. But what kind of impact does being reported have? Is there an appeals process? Do images move from 'reported' back to active automatically?

Just a little confused as to why they were reported and want to avoid it happening in the future/find out what I should do if it does.

Well, might be for content but also just that if you hosted the image somewhere else and the link was temporarily broken. We moderate it manually and put it back if it seems ok and delete if not. Nothing more than that would happen unless you're a bot posting spam images of course.

Over the last three months we've been getting a lot coming up as "reported" the vast majority being down to broken links/external host sites.
