Removing Superglue

I bought an assembled and partially-painted Abaddon the Despoiler off eBay, and I was appalled at the paintjob. I dunked him in Pine-Sol overnight and went at him with a toothbrush. Although I got most of the paint off, the glue didn\'t budge.

I\'ve put him back in the Sol, and I\'ll come back tomorrow, but in the meantime, what do you guys suggest I do to remove this stubborn glue?

Some really strong paint strippers destroy super glue & turn green stuff to rubber!!

I dismantaled a metal 40k Thunderhawk with this stuff!

Beware these are the type that can burn your skin if you are not careful!

I usually am able to get the superglue off after having the minis dunked in pinesol for a while. By a while though I can sometimes mean days or weeks at a time as I sometimes throw things in it and forget about them for a while :) But even overnight probably softened it a bit, try pulling it apart after its been in the Pinesol bath for a bit.

If that doesn\'t work, someone else mentioned acetone. There\'s also superglue debonders out there, usually for when you manage to glue your fingers together, but it works on minis too lol

Its been said

I use acetone baths. I put it in a jar and let set for a dasy or two and presto all paint AND glue is removed. I do this with all my metal pieces I buy used. this removes all the unwanted stufffrom them. Dont try with plastics though!!!!
