Just a day after a man was captured on CCTV trying to board a train in Wrexham accompanied by a pony (after a conductor refused him entry to a train, the man returned to the ticket booth where he tried to buy two tickets - for himself and the animal), it appears the mystery man with pony have been spotted a day after in a pub and a hospital A&E.

"Retired teacher George Cawley, 62, was about to have a pub lunch with his wife last Friday when the man walked in "matter of fact" leading his pony.

He described it as a "crazy" scene which caused "uproar" among shoppers and customers, although the pony seemed relaxed and undistracted."

Strange!

lmao! Well, there have been horses and ponies trained to be service animals - but somehow I don't think this quite fits that. ;)

This follow up makes we wonder if it's going to be revealed to be a marketing campaign for some brand or another. Though more likely a pub bet I suppose :)

Ok Here's a question.
Why is it eyebrow raising for someone to walk a horse into a pub as opposed to walking in with a dog?

If anything horses are less likely to be unhygenic.
You don't see horses sniffing other horses turds or cocking their legs against a lampost do you?
And lets face it the chances of a horse taking a fancy to someones leg and 'Jack Russell'ing' someones ankles are pretty low.

Give the guy a break he's Welsh.

A horse is the next evolutionary step up from a sheep..........
